Roofstock onChain offers a number of options to make your ownership experience seamless, but generally speaking owning a Home onChain should be not be different from any other property.
As a token holder you are responsible for all decisions pertaining property ownership: How to use the home, selecting a property manager or choosing tenants.
You are also responsible for the usual property expenses: Taxes, insurance, utilities, maintenance, HOA, capital expenditures, etc.
Roofstock onChain partners with and they insure many of our properties for sale. As an owner you can decide to continue coverage with them, or change insurance provider.
Roofstock onChain is set up as an administrator in the Home onChain LLC to ensure ongoing compliance. This includes maintaining the existence of the LLC in good standing and the administrative activities related to the token.
Roofstock onChain covers the administration costs for the first year after acquisition. After that the token holder is responsible for them.
