Do I need my own wallet to own a Home OnChain?

A wallet on the blockchain allows users to store and trade cryptocurrency (Bitcoin, Ether, etc.) and digital assets. You need a wallet to receive and store your Home onChain. Roofstock onChain works with any wallet compatible with Wallet Connect, including Metamask.

If you don’t have a wallet, Roofstock can help you set one up.

Who owns the key to my wallet?

You have 100% ownership and custody of the keys to your wallet that holds your token.

What blockchain is Roofstock using? What type of token?

We use the Ethereum blockchain for token creation and transfers. Homes onChain are non-fungible (NFT) tokens based on the ERC-721 standard.
